The Myanmar Bible/Missionary Training Center was founded in 2014 to bring together native gospel workers who will take the gospel to the unreached people groups in northeast Myanmar (formerly Burma). It began on faith by Pastor John and his wife. At first he was the only teacher. Since then the Lord has steadily added workers willing to work in remote areas where the labor is hard and there is not much fruit.
The current facility is in rented spaces, however, landlords have hindered worship and forced the need to relocate three times in the last four years. The proposed facility will have approximately 20 students at one time housed in two dormitories – one for men and another for women. The center will offer a Bachelors in Theology, host pastors’ conferences and continue short-term training.
GCRI would like to provide information about this project but extremely tight security demands that we not. For information call Ed White at 757-944-1011.
