Albania, a small country across the Adriatic Sea from the heel of Italy, suffered severe oppression against religious expression under the communist dictatorship of Enver Hoxha. During this brutal reign, Hoxha organized youth work gangs to gut churches, imprisoned clergy, and prohibited the use of Christian names for children. However, even as these acts of terror against religion were occurring, one man who was then a captain in the Albanian army was listening for radio transmissions that would signal an American invasion. In his boredom, the man turned the dial and happened upon a Trans World Radio broadcast about Jesus. Eventually, he became a committed Christian and now leads an invasion to bring Christ to his country.
